Pre-service English teachers’ reflective practice via online journaling during school-based teaching internship program at the time of Covid-19 pandemic

چکیده

This study explores the reflective practices of two pre-service English teachers (PSETs) during their school-based teaching practice and internship program at time Covid-19. The purpose this research is to describe PSETs reflections online practicum. data were collected by utilizing participants’ journal writing as part e-portfolio projects which they kept analyzed thematically referring Bain, Ballantyne, Packer & Mills, (1999). revealed four main thematic findings namely, Focus on Teaching, Self, Professional Issues, Students or Class. Furthermore, also identified frequent sub-themes, such General Teaching Issues (GTI), Specific Lessons Incidents (SI), Own Approach (OTA), Relationship/Discussion with Supervising (RST), Profession (TP), Preparation (PP), Student /Class Behavior (SBC), Characteristics (SCC). Overall, suggests that use journaling helps facilitate prospective future language introspecting a multitude aspects practicum/ program.
